Kate Tildes grew up in a small town in rural southeastern Ohio, where her passion for understanding people and supporting her community first took root. She pursued a degree in psychology, sociology, and women’s and gender studies at Ohio University, later spending many years working in behavioral health and domestic violence advocacy. After relocating to New England, Kate’s career shifted toward medicine. She began as an EMT-Basic and steadily advanced, ultimately earning her RN and then her Nurse Practitioner credentials. She completed her graduate training at the Massachusetts General Hospital Institute of Health Professions, becoming an Adult–Geriatric Primary Care Nurse Practitioner. In 2023, Kate, her husband, and their two children moved to Wilmington. Her long‑held dream of opening her own practice became a reality in 2026, alongside her colleagues Dr. Timothy Murphy and Nurse Practitioner Tracy Lee. Kate has dedicated her life to helping others, providing high‑quality, compassionate care to adult and geriatric patients. She is deeply committed to building trusting relationships and supporting the well‑being of every individual she serves.
Outside of work, Kate enjoys spending time with her family, reading, and enjoying nature.
